I was already stunned by the astonishing views out into the surrounding woods and the apartments decorated with extremely stylish Indonesian wooden furniture when I arrived. What really made the week I spent at Casale Pundarika unforgettable, though, was the very special atmosphere of the whole place - it truly breathes meditation and I can absolutely see how it was blessed by a Buddhist monk before its inauguration and why the Dalai Lama has already visited it twice. The heart of everything that happens there these days are the owners, Daniela and Giambattista - just meeting these two, in all their loving peacefulness, and experiencing their incredibly professional yet easy-going way of running the Casale is worth the trip up the hill! Their love for the place and dedication to offering hospitality also becomes very palpable in Daniela's delicous, vegetarian/vegan cooking. If your idea of la dolce vitta is peace, simplicity and beauty in a very well-organized place in amazing natural surroundings, go stay at Casale Pundarika!
You want to have a relaxing break after the crowded and buzzing tourist hotspots in Tuscany? You'll find it there. A calm and peaceful spot with a great view in the hills around the Riparbella village. Relax in the jacuzzi after a nice dinner in Riparbella or an one day trip to Siena or Volterra. And if you want day at the beach don't worry, it's just half an hour to drive. The guys who run this place are very friendly, no just awesome! Some book at chic retreats I prefer Casale Pundarika!
We stayed In Casale Pundarika for 2 nights and it was the biggest mistake of our trip!=) Next time I will stay there for whole week at least!=))) It is Amazing place to spend your holiday in Toscany with amazing hosts! Place is unforgettable and managers are very friendly and warm people! If you want to take a cooking class they would love to organize it for you! They also can recommend good winniries and beaches around the villa. Our room number was 3, there is amazing view to the Toscany hills and sun! You will never forget your time spent in peaceful and calm place to stay as Casale Pundarika is!
This place was one of the best accommodations that we had in Toscany. We had the best view over the mountains from our bedroom window, the rooms were tidy and cosy. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, we had a cooking class with them which was one of the best experiences in my life. We had a great time together and I would definitely come back again! Thank you!!!
